I have had cats my entire life and can’t imagine a life without them. I currently have two cats of my own that I raised as kittens, now ages 6 and 4, and a 6 month old puppy we recently rescued. I have experience with kittens and young cats, elderly cats, and everything in between. I also have experience with shy/anxious cats, feral cats, multi-cat households, multi-pet households, and am willing to make any accommodations to make sure your kitties are as happy and healthy as can be while you are away. I have been around cats of all personality types, and have always loved learning how to be each new cat’s best friend. I have cared for cats of my own for as long as I can remember, as well as cats of friends and family when they are away. I love getting to know them and their unique personalities and quirks. I can guarantee that your fur babies will be loved and cared for like family, and you can expect daily picture and video updates. While I do have experience with indoor/outdoor cats, all cats will remain indoors at all times while in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
Due to my current pets, I am not accepting client’s pets in my home at this time. Meet and greet is required. All cats will remain inside your home during my stay, and I will remain fully alert and attentive when opening doors to go in or out. I will not bring dangerous foods or substances into your home, such as essential oils, foods, or plants. I will clean food and water bowls daily, as well as litter boxes. Please let me know in advance: if there are any specific areas in your home that your pets are not allowed, or if your pet requires any specific treatment, grooming, or special routines. I would also love to know what makes them most comfortable, or what a normal day with family looks like. It’s important to me that they feel as safe and happy as possible. If they have a favorite toy or game, or if they have a favorite spot for pets. Anything you can think of that would contribute to their overall happiness during my stay.

Avery was very responsive to communications. VERY caring about my two kittens. She most certainly knows the nature of cats as it reflected in how she introduced herself to them. She was very thoughtful in sending pics of her interactions with them. I will certainly utilize her services again and recommend her to anyone.
Second time using Avery and can’t wait to use her again in the future! She is so kind and responsive. I trust that my cats are very well taken care of. So thankful to have found such a thoughtful sitter!
Shoutout to Avery! She was incredible while I was away for a week. I got lots of pictures and daily updates. She is responsive, clear, and has great communication. This was my first time using her and she very quickly put my mind at ease. I will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to a friend!
Avery was the best! She was quick to respond, great communicator, and seemed to genuinely love cats (not everyone is a cat person!) She sent sweet pics while we were gone and we could tell our kitty was well taken care of. We felt like Avery went above and beyond and would definitely use her again!
I can’t recommend Avery enough! She has watched my cat multiple times now, and every single time I come home to a happy, well cared for boy. She’s reliable, attentive, and genuinely loves animals. I never have to worry when my cat is in her hands and she sends updates, follows my cat’s routine, and treats him/her like her own.

Schedule
I currently work full time Monday-Thursday, and have half days on Fridays. If booked at least 72h in advance, I can make arrangements to work remotely to spend more time with your pets during the week. Otherwise, there will be a check-in 3 times a day, and I can spend evenings/nights with them. I can spend all day with them during the weekends. If you would like more check-ins or for me to stay overnight, please let me know! My schedule is pretty flexible, so if you have any requests please feel free to ask and I will do my best to accommodate!
