Hi my name is Avery! I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician who works primarily in anesthesia, and a lifelong animal lover who treats every pet like they’re my own. In my day to day job at the hospital, I monitor patients under anesthesia and recovery which means I’m trained to watch the little things: breathing, comfort level, mobility, appetite, and behavior. I’m very comfortable caring for pets who need medications, have medical conditions, are seniors, or just benefit from someone experienced keeping an extra eye on them. You can feel confident knowing your pet is with someone who stays calm, attentive, and safety focused. Outside of work, my approach is gentle, patient, and loving. I know how important routine, enrichment, and cuddles are while you’re away. Whether your dog wants structured walks and playtime, or your cat prefers a quiet companion and cozy check-ins, I’ll meet them where they’re at and make them feel safe and cared for. I’m especially happy to help with: • Puppies learning routines and confidence • Senior pets who need slower, supportive care • Pets requiring oral meds or injections • Nervous or shy animals who need a calm presence • Multi-pet households You’ll get regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how things are going. Avery was an amazing cat sitter! She came over the day before to go over feeding instructions and to meet my kitties. Right away, you could tell she was a kind and warm animal lover! While I was away, she sent me message updates and pictures and videos of my three girls. Overall, I was super happy with the care she provided and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter on here!
Avery was a wonderful house sitter for our 2 year old miniature schnauzer/ poodle cross. She connected very well with our pup, making our time away less stressful for everyone. We appreciated the photos and excellent communication throughout her stay.

Renata and Avery are the absolute best. I love getting the photos and video clips throughout the day…it seems like he doesn’t even miss me 🤔 Haha! It’s because he’s too busy having way too much fun and being so spoiled. These two know how to show a doggie a good time. 😃
I’ve never left my dog with someone other than family but when I learned Avery offered daycare, there was just no question. I feel 100% confident that Joey will be taken care of so well and he will have a great day playing with his buddy Isla. I didn’t think about Joey once while he was with Avery…I knew he was in the best hands and she loves him just as much as I do!! Can’t wait for the next playdate.
Avery made leaving our pup so incredibly easy. It is evident that she loves animals with all her heart, and the fact that she is a very tech is just the icing on the cake. She was thorough, on time and asked great questions. Anyone who is lucky enough to have Avery be available to watch their pups is lucky!

Schedule
I have been a full time RVT for 10 years and have gained lots of experience with many kinds of animals. Since I work full time, my house sitting pets typically stay home and I come to them after work and leave in the mornings. This way they are in their own home where they are comfortable!
