While I can’t provide care in my own home due to my lease, I will provide lots of play time, love, and affection for your fur baby at your home, as well as feeding, walks, etc. I can adjust to whatever energy level your pet has- if they want to run laps around the yard, then run we shall.

Information Avery C. would like to know about your pet

I would appreciate information about medical issues ahead of time, as well as any behavioral “quirks” (for instance, my dog Miller loves to nibble on any and everything). These won’t prevent me from watching your baby, they just help me know what I’m getting into ahead of time :)

A typical day

I love going on walks or jogs and playing with toys with dogs, but for low energy fur babies I’m just as content chilling on the couch while they take a nap. For walks, I love to explore new places. For instance, I switch up the route I take my dog on almost daily- it keeps him (and me) from getting bored of the same old walk every day.

Pet care experience

I worked in a Doggy Daycare and Boarding facility in my home town for the last two years, through which I gained experience in both basic animal care and handling and administering medicine, and basic medical emergencies such as seizures, heat-related illness, and bloat. Before that job, I spent several years pet-sitting for a family friend, who had 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 rats. I can certainly provide references for both. I also have my own dog right now, a 2 year old (very high energy) pit mix named Miller.

Avery did an amazing job taking care of our guinea pig while we were away for a week. We looked forward to seeing pictures of him everyday, and we were comfortable knowing he was in good hands. His cage was super clean and his food was all stocked up throughout the week and when we came home. Will definitely book again in the future.
