Pet care experience

High-energy dog care+daily exercise

I’ve loved dogs as long as I can remember and have been pet sitting consistently for the last 6 years. With experience working at a dog training and boarding center, I’ve developed patience and understanding, especially with high-energy pups and those with behavioral quirks. I will get your dog out of the house and having fun every day! I take dogs hiking, swimming, biking, running or skiing every day and listen to your dogs wants and needs. While I am passionate about working with high energy dogs I love every dog and will cater to their specific interests. I also have a medical alert service dog for diabetes, which has taught me how to handle most situation. I was taught CPR and how to handle a dog fight by certified dog trainers. I genuinely love dogs and treat every pet like family, providing reliable, loving care along with clear communication and a spotless home. Clients can trust me to be attentive, responsible, and caring every step of the way.

What a gem. Took care of walked all 4 of our dogs each day. Not an easy fete, 2 large labs, a 110# GSD, and a small Terrier. Left the house in great order, stripped the bed, washed the sheets. I'll def use Avalon again

Avalon did an amazing job of taking care of our dog and our home while we were away. She went on lots of excellent hikes with our dog, which was just what was needed. Thanks Avalon!

As always, Avalon is so caring to my dog, Hadi. She took her on multiple outings and hikes. I think our dog is almost sad that we’re home because she has such a great time with Avalon!

She’s absolutely wonderful! All my furry girls love her. I feel calm and confident when I’m traveling knowing she’s loving them, taking the dogs for walks and keeping my pet happy and safe in my absence. She always leaves the house very clean. Avalon is the best. I highly recommend her.

Avalon did a wonderful job housesitting for me! She took great care of Enzo and my home, she went above and beyond taking him to outside on long walks and always sends pictures. She had the sensibility to notify me of any small injuries my dog sustained by being his crazy self, and took action to nurse his owies. I never have anything to complain about hiring her!

Schedule

I’m doing an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop, but will always make sure your dogs schedule is my top priority. When dog sitting I usually go into the shop from 12-4pm and never leave a dog longer than you and them are comfortable with. My hours as an apprentice are very flexible and while the exact time I am willing to be gone from a dog is case by case, I try to not leave dogs bored or alone for more than 4 hours a day. I will be with them anytime I’m not working and take time off if requested/planned at least a month ahead. I’ve worked with many dogs with medical conditions and am always on top of medications and any additional care requirements.
