I’m currently a student at Arizona State University with classes on weekday mornings. Outside of that, I have a flexible schedule and can adjust my routine to accommodate pet care. On weekends, I usually work on school assignments, which I’m able to do from anywhere, allowing me to provide attentive and consistent care.

I like to ask about their usual routines, favorite activities, any allergies or medical conditions, how they behave around other dogs or people, and any quirks or things that make them nervous. Knowing these details helps me make sure every walk, check-in, or overnight stay is safe, fun, and stress-free for them.
A typical day
I’ll take pets on relaxed neighborhood or sunset walks, play fetch or tug-of-war to help them burn energy, and give them lots of attention and affection. If allowed, I can also take them on a fun pup cup trip for a special treat. For calmer or older pets, I’m happy to hang out, cuddle, and keep them company so they feel comfortable and cared for.

Pet care experience
I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have been dog sitting for family and friends since my junior year of high school. I have experience with both large breeds, like German Shepherds, and small dogs. I’ve done everything from short check-ins while owners are at work to week-long stays. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone who truly cares, and I treat every dog I watch with the same love and attention I give my own.

Ava is incredibly attentive to every pet in her care. In our home, she’s looked after puppies, active adult dogs, and seniors, and she truly understands how each stage comes with different needs. She adjusts her care accordingly and makes every pup feel comfortable and cared for. She also builds strong bonds with them, loving on them as if they were her own!

I've known Ava her entire life. Not only is she a woman of high integrity and great compassion, she is a huge dog lover. I've watched her care for her family's English bulldogs and beagle, as well as other people's bulldogs and my own cocker spaniels. You can trust her to keep the schedules you set and administer medication properly and on time. She has experience caring for elderly dogs, as well. She is a devoted dog caregiver and understands the emotional upsets a dog may suffer when their family is gone. She has the energy and strength to handle big dogs and small.
