I currently work a part-time job with shifts starting in the late afternoon (around 4–5pm) and occasional early weekend hours. Outside of that, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets attention, walks, and care. I’m available almost every weekday mornings and early afternoons, as well as weekend mornings or afternoon depending on my schedule.I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to make sure they’re well cared for and comfortable.

A typical day
I love spending time with animals and making sure they have lots of fun! We’ll go on walks, play with their favourite toys, explore outside, and have lots of cuddle time. I’ll make sure every pet gets the attention and activities they enjoy most!

Pet care experience
I’ve loved and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, even though I didn’t grow up with one full-time. I’ve regularly helped friends, neighbors, and family by walking, feeding, playing with, and watching their dogs while they’re away. I’m very patient, attentive, and comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m also responsible and follow any specific instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, or routines. Whatever it is i’m just happy there’s a dog involved!!

We have had all of our 3 crazy pugs cared for by Ava on several occasions. She is a caring, loving dog sitter and demonstrated great control with our love bugs on multiple walks and in her overnight care of them over the past 7 or so years! We never worried about the love that she gave our dogs and she kept us updated with pictures and texts if we were missing them. We highly recommend her for her demonstration of care and professionalism in the care of dogs!
Ava has been wonderful with our dog Willow. She plays with her, takes her on walks, and even reinforces commands like sit, shake a paw and lie down. Willow is always happy and well cared for. We trust Ava completely!
