Hi, I’m Ava! I LOVE animals and have taken care of them most of my life growing up with dogs and cats. I started volunteering at animal shelters at 17 and have taken fear free training courses. I took two college courses in collaboration with Idaho Humane Society and learned all about dog and cat body language/behavior/welfare as well as fear free training methods. I have experience with dogs, cats, and some handling experience with small animals like bunnies. I also have experience (from previous pets of mine) caring for dogs with disabilities and giving them medication. I’m open to all animals and can’t wait to meet yours!

In a client’s home, I am able to follow the routine they would normally do if they were home. This includes feeding/watering, bathroom breaks, enrichment, walks, brushing, cuddles, playing, and anything else a client would typically do to care for their animal(s).

Ava is just the best! She has cared for my golden retriever Finn when my husband and I have left town. He is really reactive and she does a really good job at finding ways to help support him on walks when there are other dogs. Ava is one of Finn’s favorite people and ours too! She really understands animals and you can feel the love that she brings to each and every animal. She is super sweet and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing pet care!
Ava is the best!! She is so loving and attentive to our dogs, and goes above and beyond to take excellent care of them. She follows our instructions and their routines with precision, and this was especially helpful for one of our dogs that required diapering following an accident where she lost partial feeling in her hind legs :( Our dogs get so excited when they see Ava - they adore her so much!! And this brings my husband and I great peace of mind knowing they are being so well cared for while we are away! I would recommend Ava to any and everyone!!

Schedule
I am currently working, so in the mornings and after work I am able to provide care with feeding/watering, bathroom breaks, enrichment, walks, brushing, cuddles, playing, etc.
