Growing up in Minnesota, I’ve had dogs my entire life and have also had a cat for most of my life, so caring for animals has always been a big part of who I am. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have house sat for several families and looked after their pets while they were away, providing dependable and loving care. I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. My experience babysitting, working at a daycare, and coaching children has also made me responsible, patient, and attentive, qualities I bring to every pet I care for. My goal is to treat every pet like my own, giving owners peace of mind that their furry family members are in good hands.

Ava was great with our Bernedoodle Murphy! He can be anxious around new people and instantly was comfortable with Ava. She gave him plenty of snuggle time and he looked so happy in all of the photos she shared. It was a huge relief while we were gone knowing he was so well taken care of.
Ava is a true dog lover. She is incredible at taking care of my fur baby, Georgie. We love her so much! Having a dog walker and sitter who loves Georgie as much as I do, and dedicates so much time to keeping Gigi active is so important to me. I trust Ava so much.
Ava petsit for my old kitty (Princess-17) and my pup (Doug-2) for a week while I was away! She did a fantastic job taking care of my little ones while I was gone. I have very strict instructions for Princess-which she followed incredibly perfectly! Doug got so much exercise and the pictures I received while on my trip had Doug and Princess smiling ear to ear! Thank you Ava! I will recommend you to all my friends but not too many people because I don’t want you all booked up when I need your help again!

Schedule
I recently graduated from college and am home in Minnesota for the summer, which gives me full-time availability and plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. My schedule is very open, allowing me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight stays throughout the week and on weekends. I’m committed to providing dependable, attentive care and can easily adapt to your pet’s routine and needs.

I understand that every pet has their own routine and comfort level, and I strive to make them feel as comfortable and at home as possible. When caring for pets in their own homes, I treat both the animals and the home with the utmost respect. I will follow all care instructions closely, maintain your pet’s regular routine, and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection to ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
