I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and am well versed in the care and effort they require. I have dog/house sat for multiple families with a variety of dogs (including large breeds, seniors and special needs) on multiple occasions. I have also recently trained my own puppy (lab, golden retriever cross) who is just over 4 years old now.

I take a daily hour long walk, and am happy to supplement with dog park visits or longer/multiple walks if your pup needs more exercise. I love playing fetch and tug of war, and like to snuggle up at the end of a long day and watch some reality TV, fillet crochet or read a new book!

We have never had a pet sitter before who wasn't a family member or friend, so we were very worried about getting someone unknown, but Ava was amazing and put our minds at ease! She is the sweetest, and the pets took to her right away. We received multiple photos and updates daily. We already have her booked for another stay! We would highly recommend Ava!!
Once again, Ava was wonderful! I greatly appreciated her willingness to accommodate a last minute request. She made sure to spend lots of 1-on-1 time with each of my cats as they’re still in the process of being introduced, sent plenty of adorable photos, and reached out right away when she noticed one was under the weather. My girls clearly adored her which alleviated the stress of being away from my babies for a few days!
Ava is our to-go pet sitter for our cat Tito! She is just such a sweet and attentive human! She sends tons of photos while pet sitting and in all of them it seems like our cat truly feels comfortable and trusts her, it's even funny to see how he doesn't seem to miss us and is just enjoying his time with her. She is also very polite and professional in all the interactions. I truly recommend her to everyone.
This is our 3rd time having Ava stay at our house with the kitties and we just adore her. Thank you Ava! 😻

Schedule
I am currently a university student at UofA studying Environmental-Civil Engineering. I am working on a co-op term until the end of August. I have flexibility to work from home if you would prefer me to stay home with your pet/s. After work all my attention will be on your furry family. I love to go out for walks in Hawrelak park or around new neighbourhoods and enjoy being active rain or shine!

- Tell me everything! I love hearing about your pet’s personality, favourite activities, nicknames, and all the little things that make them special. I’d also like to know about feeding schedules, daily exercise needs, and any medications or special care requirements. Talking through what a typical day looks like for them and any routines or habits they’re accustomed to is key. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable, happy, and relaxed as possible while you’re away, so the more I know, the better!
