Hi, I’m Ava! I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for over 12 years - everything from boarding in my home to drop-in visits for food, walks, meds, or just some love and company. I've also had pets all my life, so I'm familiar with the young and the old, the anxious and the high-energy, and the ones recovering from surgery. I love them all! I work from home (except Tuesdays for about 4 hours), so I have a flexible schedule and can often do drop-ins or even work from your house if your pet prefers not to be alone. At home, I have a sweet little dog and a very relaxed senior cat - both get along well with others. I have a big, fenced yard to romp around in and live near a nature park, which is perfect for walks! I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, and animals with health issues or anxiety. I’m also comfortable walking reactive dogs and understand how to keep things calm and safe. I'm obsessed with my own pets, and will treat yours like family too. I’ll send lots of pictures and updates so you always know how things are going!

Ava did an excellent job w my crazy kittens. I loved the daily pictures. I came home to happy kitties and a fresh bowl of water. Definitely recommend.
Ava was great and very accommodating. My dog was timid at first but settled in very well. I forgot to tell her my dog can get scared and bark at strangers, which she did with her husband, but Ava knew exactly what to do to calm her down.
Ava was wonderful! She’s a great communicator and put us right at ease. Our kitty Greta seemed to take to her right away and we felt comfortable being gone for several days with Ava dropping in daily to check on Greta and give her some love. Definitely recommend!
I’ve used Ava as my pet sitter many times and she is wonderful! She’s responsible and shows up right on time. My babies are always so happy to see her, and she showers them with love. She’s able to administer medication as prescribed too, which is a huge relief for me. I definitely recommend her services!
Ava has watched my dog for me many times while I went away on vacations. He has since passed away, but she always took the best care of him. Even in his old age he demanded twice daily walks, and she always took him. She cuddled and loved him as if her own pup while I was away. He never hesitated to go to her house, he LOVED being there. She treated him as if he was hers.

Schedule
I work from home M-F, except around 4 hours on Tuesdays, and my schedule is flexible so I can do drop-ins and walks as needed, or can work from your home if your pet needs full-time care.

Safety, trust & environment
At my home, pets get a calm, cozy space with lots of love and attention. I stick to their normal routines - feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime. My yard is partially fenced but I have a driveway gate I can put up for extra safety. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I’ll make sure they’re well cared for, given meds if needed, and get plenty of love and company. I can also work from your home if your pet prefers not to be alone. You'll get plenty of photo updates and daily notes too!

I love going on long walks and live near a nature park which has so many great smells! Because I work from home, I'm a great cuddler during down times.
