Hello! My name is Ava, and I'm new to Rover though certainly not to pet care! I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, so I'm lucky to have grown up with a family who owned both cats and dogs, teaching me the responsibilities of pet care from a very young age. Additionally, I spent 3 years throughout highschool and into college employed as a supervising kennel attendant at a dog and cat boarding facility. In this role, I learned so much about the patience, attention-to-detail, compassion, and dependability required for pet caretaking, and can say with confidence that these assets have stuck with me and now shape the way that I care for my own pet, Mickey :) I've had the opportunity to work with dogs and cats of practically all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am also experienced in administering medications, caring for pets with seizures, and faciliating pet socialization! I understand how difficult it can be to leave home and trust your fur baby with someone new. It is for that reason that I promise to do my very best to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease with my care! Please reach out with any questions about my services! I take pride in creating a comfortable and personalized experience for pets in my care. In caring for pets in clients' homes, I communicate effectively about your animal's favorite activities, toys, treats, etc. in order to best provide them with comfort and fun while you are away!

Ava did a great job watching my dog. She sent updates and made sure my dog got lots of exercise and playtime. She handled my dog’s quirks very well and had great communication.

Ava is a go to for us! She takes such great care of our 2 labs, Lola and Daisy. Ava shares photos and communicates well. She takes care of things at the house when needed. We really appreciate Ava being our go to.

Schedule
While I do work a fulltime job Monday-Friday, I am happy to help with your pet needs whenever I can! I am available most times on the weekends for overnights and walks, and available any day of the week for check-ins, especially for cats!
