I’ve been around puppies, dogs, and cats from a very young age, and through the years I’ve gained hands on experience through fostering, volunteering, adoption, training, dog walking, pet sitting, and care of my own pets. These opportunities have allowed me to work with a variety of breeds, personalities, ages, and energy levels. This has allowed me to develop lots of skills and a strong understanding of what dogs need to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! I am also certified through IAP College in dog walking, which has expanded my knowledge in areas such as leash training, body language, proper walking techniques, socialization, medical needs, and care needs. Understanding that every dog is different, it is important to be patient, attentive, and be able to adapt to their routines, and personalities!

Safety, trust & environment
When providing a dog walking service, I prioritize safety and comfort. Using appropriate equipment, such as a properly fitted harness to help prevent choking or unnecessary pressure on the neck, if needed. Using an appropriate leash is also considered, and if you prefer your pup on an E Collar or prong collar, they will be correctly and safely used! Water can also be brought on walks if needed, which I base on weather, age, behavior, body language, and energy levels. For other services, all pets require different care, so routines and instructions provided by the owner will be followed. I’m here to provide fun walks, extra exercise, companionship, training, plus love and attention for your pet when needed most! When receiving care for pets in your home, the space will be treated with the same respect I would want in my own home. The goal is to make sure you and your pet feel safe and comfortable at all times!

Ava is amazing with our dog! She’s always helped us in a pinch and is extremely thoughtful, caring and attentive. We’re very lucky to have found her to take her of our girl while we’re busy.
Ava was awesome! Kept me and my wife updated the entire time she was with our pup and even stayed to play with him after his walks!

Ava was a wonderful petsitter for our dog Tank. She was excellent at communication and made sure to update us with detailed report cards after each visit. I was nervous to use Rover for the first time but after our initial meeting with her I felt at ease. She took great care of Tank and I would definitely hire her again!

Schedule
Caring for animals is my full time job while I continue my education toward my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. I started my own dog walking and pet sitting business in high school called Daily Wags, and have remained consistent ever since. I love doing this as my job as I am deeply passionate about animals, and the care I am able to provide for them! Caring for pets is a big responsibility, and my goal is to make sure each owner feels confident that their pet is in the best care possible. I am patient, attentive, loving, caring, and dependable, as I take the time to learn and understand each pet individually! Having the opportunity to gain an owner and pets trust, as well as help out in any ways I can, is the most rewarding part of my job! Currently I have two Goldendoodles of my own, caring, loving, and walking them every day. The care, patience, attention, and love I provide for my animals is something I bring to each pet I look after.
