Hi, I’m Ava! What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I volunteer at the Milo Foundation, where I gain hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with a wide range of needs and personalities. I also have a dog and a cat of my own, so I understand daily routines, behavior cues, and how important trust and consistency are. I’m comfortable with playful puppies, including basic training and potty routines, as well as senior pets who may need extra patience, gentle care, or medication support. I’m reliable, communicative, and love sending updates and photos so you always feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and loved 🐾

I have experience working with skittish dogs and understand how to build trust at their pace, including safely and calmly getting dogs into crates when needed. I’m confident handling dogs on leash and supervising off-leash play. I also have experience caring for cats, including shy or nervous ones, and know how to provide patient, low-stress care that helps them feel safe and comfortable.

My friendly cat really took to her, more than I’ve seen him do with any friends or sitters, and my shy cat even came around a bit too. Ava was awesome all around and I would highly recommend her!
