I've lived with and cared for cats and dogs my entire life! I'm the first one my neighbors and friends call when they need a sitter. I've taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from puppies to seniors and feisty maltipoos to mellow goldendoodles. Living with a reactive dog also gives me experience handling more temperamental, human-reactive animals.

Safety, trust & environment
While I will be unable to board your pets in my own home, I am more than happy to house-sit under your rules. My philosophy is that safety comes first, so learning your pet's boundaries and how they like to be handled is most important to me! I want both you and your pet to feel safe and comfortable under my care. I have worked with gentle leaders, muzzles, and harnesses, so extra equipment is not a problem!

Ava was a great sitter, taking care of my cat for the whole week while I was away visiting family. A very friendly attitude, good update pictures, and just generally a good experience. The next time I’m out of town I will definitely be trying to book her again.
Ava has absolutely loved animals since she was little. She grew up with dogs and cats, and if you asked her, she’d probably say they’re her favorite family members! Since middle school, she’s also been taking care of friends’ and neighbors’ pets whenever she had the opportunity. People trust Ava with their furry friends. At home, at school and in the community, she’s known as a hardworking, responsible leader who can be counted on to do the right thing. And of course, she can be counted on to shower your pets with love and attention!
Ava grew up loving wolves. Unfortunately--or fortunately--she's not allowed to keep wolves around the house. That said, we're a long-time equal opportunity dog and cat family. And Ava's been responsible for taking care of our neighbors' pets since she was a wee thing. Your dog is safe with her.

Schedule
I am free all day, every day to take care of your loved ones! I will be available for drop-ins, house-sitting, walks, play dates, and more. I can work with your schedule!

- Please let me know if your dog has trouble around other humans, dogs, or cats so that I know how to accommodate them on our walks, and if there are any behaviors I should avoid doing. Also, please let me know how your dog prefers to be stimulated (games, training, walks, etc.), or if they have any favorite toys!
