I’m able to provide full-time care and supervision, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I’m flexible with schedules and happy to accommodate your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. A typical day includes regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, and lots of affection and interaction. I also make time for rest and quiet time so pets can feel relaxed and at home. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a calm environment, I adapt my care to fit their personality and needs. I truly love animals and enjoy spending quality time with them, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout the stay for peace of mind.

Before looking after your dog or cat, I’d just like to know a few important things so I can make sure they’re as comfortable and happy as possible. Please let me know about any medication they take, any medical conditions, and whether they’re a puppy/kitten. Also if they have any reactivity or anxieties I should be aware of. It’s also really helpful to know their usual routine, favourite activities, feeding schedule, and anything that helps them feel settled and safe.
A typical day
I’ll make sure your pets feel safe and entertained while you’re away. I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs and enjoy long walks and keeping them engaged both physically and mentally. If your dog enjoys games or enrichment activities, I’m happy to do things like puzzle toys, scent games, tug or fetch (just let me know what they like and what works best for them). I also have experience with more challenging dogs. Through the The Cinnamon Trust, I walked a reactive Malinois for several months, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and reading a dog’s body language. I’m confident handling energetic dogs and making sure they feel comfortable and secure while having fun at the same time.

Hi, I’m Ava. A friendly and reliable pet sitter and dog walker based in Stratford-upon-Avon. I absolutely love animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all personalities, whether that’s long walks with energetic dogs or quiet cuddles with cats. I’ve spent 4 years volunteering with The Cinnamon Trust, helping care for and walk dogs for people who needed extra support. While I was at university, for 2 years I also looked after and boarded dogs for owners when they were away, so I’m very used to making pets feel comfortable and loved in my care. Over the last year, Ava has looked after my cat several times. I come back from holiday and know that Coco has been well looked after. Coco is a house cat and can be funny around new people, but they hit it off straight away and Coco remembers who she is on returning visits! She is always well groomed, fed and happy. It’s good to know my cat is in safe hands.
In Feb, Ava looked after my two dogs for a week. She stayed at the house and sent pictures each day of them being happy. She’s chatty and kind and made me feel at ease straight away. I would recommend Ava to anyone who loves their pet and wants good, genuine care!
