I would provide a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for the pet. I would make sure the pet has water and food at all times. I would make sure the pet also takes all the medications if needed. Depending on the pets needs I would make sure there is time for exercise and play. For my home I would make sure the pet has a clean and safe environment. For the pet owners homes I would make sure to follow all instructions whether it’s feeding and medication instructions or behavioral techniques. I would make sure the animal is able to build trust and a good bond to make sure the pet is comfortable under my care.

A typical day
For dogs I will make sure they get outside for a walk or to play with a ball. I would do activities that match their energy and give them praise to build bonds. For cats I would make sure if they wanted to to play with them with interactive toys to spark their hunter instincts. If the cat is not the playful kind I would set up a treat dispenser toy for them. I would encourage bonding with them by letting but also respecting their personal space if needed.

Hi! I have been around and caring for animals for 15 years. Right now I currently dog sit for two dogs every week. I’ve had pets my whole life. I’ve had 4 dogs at one time with 2 cats. I love being around animals and have experience in watching dogs. I currently live in an apartment and have adopted two kittens. I have volunteered many times at the animals shelter by my home.

Ava and her boyfriend took my two large dogs out for a walk while I was away. They did a great job. They came within the timeframe we had selected. Ava handled the hot weather and my dogs high energy fine. My dogs seemed happy and relaxed when I got home!
