I care for pets in their own home by keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter box or potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, comfort, and supervision while respecting their space and personality—whether they’re playful and social or more shy and independent. I also keep the home clean, secure, and provide regular updates so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.

Ava is in a word "special". She is truly a one-of-kind person in every way. This is especially true when it comes to animals. She establishes an instant rapport with every pet she meets. The animals take to her instantly and very naturally. Ava is a kind, nurturing and loving individual - and the animals seem to pick up on these traits from the first moment they meet her. We trust Ava with our sweet puppy without reservation. We recommend her highly. And so does our pup :-)
Ava took great care of our 11-year old mini Aussie. Our pup can be a little high maintenance but Ava handled her with the greatest of care. She sent us pictures and kept in touch (just the right amount) so we were able to relax and enjoy our getaway knowing our pup was happy and in the best hands. Besides taking great care of our pup, Ava was super respectful of our home and we found it exactly as we left it. We will definitely hire Ava again and recommend her highly.
Ava took exceptional care of our Max (our little 10 year old Scottie) and Josie (our energetic 4 year old Mini Berna doodle) for a week while we were away in North Carolina. Ava stayed in our home while we were away and took care of everything for us. She walked, fed, and even bathed them for us! She made sure our pups felt safe and loved while we were away. My favorite part was how Ava sent us selfies with the pups to put us at ease... Ava also took action when she saw a need. Max was getting out of our yard, and she not only fixed the problem, but she also got both pups collars with my cell phone number on them in case it ever happens again! In short, Ava is a responsible, kind, and thoughtful woman who is gifted with animals! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care from someone who goes above and beyond!
