I’ve been around pets my entire life including dogs (puppies and elderly), cats, rats, and guinea pigs, and I’ve been pet sitting for my neighbors for 3-4 years now. I currently have a high energy border collie and diva cat and strongly believe in gentle non-aggressive training and care. I’m available for long term, overnight, daily potty breaks and walks!

I use gentle training methods and positive reinforcement rather than harsh punishments. Understanding how our pets’ brains work rather than trying to be “dominant” is very important to me and how I treat not only my animals but other people’s.

Ava is amazing! She took such great care of our pets, sent lots of pictures, and kept us updated every day. She gave our pets so much love and attention. When we got home after a 12 hr drive, the dogs were so exhausted they slept for the whole next day! She clearly took incredible time and care with them and made sure we were coming home to exercised and tired pups. We are so grateful! She was also very respectful of our home and left everything clean. We highly recommend Ava and would absolutely book with her again!

Ava was kind with our dogs and communicated well. She left the house very clean and followed instructions. My male barks a lot at new people but that didn’t phase her any. Appreciate her help!

Schedule
I am in school right now but the longest period I wouldn’t be able to stop by or be there would be 4.5 hours! Early mornings and late nights are perfectly fine!
