I’m new to the Flagstaff area and would love the opportunity to connect with local families while providing loving care for their pets. I’ve always had a strong love for animals and with six pets of my own three dogs and three cats I truly understand how important it is to treat every pet like family. I also have a certificate in veterinary assisting, which has given me experience recognizing animal behavior, identifying basic health concerns, and providing proper pet care. I worked at a dog daycare before and i learned to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. This experience has made me very comfortable handling energetic puppies, shy dogs, and senior pets that may need extra patience and attention. I’m experienced with feeding routines, administering basic care, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals, reliability, and ability to connect with pets quickly. I’ll always make sure your pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and personalized care as just like they would at home.

Ava was great! Communicative and attentive, she took great care of my 3 cats. They’re shy and timid with new people and she was able to get them to warm up to her a bit for some snuggles and playtime. I’d definitely use her services again!
Ava helped pet sit and walk my dogs while I was gone on vacation she was extremely helpful, had amazing communication, and great hours. In addition to that her veterinary assistant certification helped us find better care for our grooming needs including noticing hair in the ears and recommending different areas to cut to give our dog a happier healthier life. she was able to manage both my large and small dog equally giving them care and attention and playing with them. I highly recommend Ava to anyone that is looking for great dog care and additional insights that you may not realize it would benefit your dog or cat.
For as long as I've known Ava, she has always possessed this deep love and care for all animals. She went on to pursue veterinary medicine, eventually graduating with her vet-tech certification. She even extended her passion for animals into her work at a doggie daycare/hotel. Overall, Ava has proven that she has the knowledge and skills to ensure that the animals she is responsible for will be in the best of hands, but it's her passion that truly makes her stand out. She is a hard worker who will show up ready to help and ready to give her 100%!
