Hi! We are a friendly, dependable, communicative, responsible, honest, and well-organized couple of individuals who have been adoring and connecting with animals all of our lives. If you're looking for knowledge, experience, passion, and love for your pet, look no further. Here it is in double! - Ava began pet sitting at the age of 13, thanks to a few handmade flyers she'd posted around town; however, according to family, she started letting their dogs out to potty just about as soon as she was able to walk to the door, still in diapers. She grew up on a small farm with a rabbit, horses, goats, chickens, birds, and fish. She worked as a zookeeper tending to bears, owls, raccoons, skunks, chinchillas, lizards, venomous snakes, etc., at a small zoo, and as the sole receptionist and a bather at an award-winning grooming salon. She is currently taking online classes at a local community college and working a few shifts a week at a cat café. - David grew up with dogs and cats, and his love for them and all animals has only grown over time. He works the overnight shift as an inventory clerk at a distribution center. - We live in a townhome in Kannapolis with our dachshund mix, cats, and gerbils. Ava was absolutely amazing. We just moved to the area and were looking for someone to watch our two dogs for our weekend trip. We were super nervous since our one dog Roscoe can be nervous with new people. He liked Ava almost instantly and Ava listened to every one of our concerns. She gave us the reassurance we needed to make sure we felt at ease while being away. She was patient and had awesome communication while we were away. We also have two guinea pigs and a hermit crab that she checked in on as well. We are super grateful that we found Ava. We will definitely be requesting her again in the future.
Amazing!
Ava is amazing! Willing to take the time and meet with our pups so that everyone is comfortable. And puts up with us humans too 😊 she is very understanding and patient with us and our pups.

Schedule
I work as a dog bather at Petsuites during the first half of most days and David works nights at a distribution center. Because our work schedules are opposite of one another, there will almost always be someone home with your pet if they are staying with us or someone available to drop in on your pet.

Ava is a clean freak, so you can trust that if we are hosting your pup, they will be living in the best of conditions, and that if either of us is visiting your home, it will be taken the absolute best care of. We will love your pet(s) as if they were our own. We’ll chat with them, play with them, brush them, give them their favorite treats, etc., and you will receive pictures, videos, and honest, detailed updates.

Please let us know what activities your pet(s) enjoy! We are happy to take them for a walk, play tug o' war, bring out a feather wand, toss a ball around, set out a paper bag, sit and watch a favorite TV show with them, set up a food puzzle, play hide & seek games with treats or toys... anything to make them feel happy and comfortable. We know how important routine can be for them!
