Availability
I work in a bar/cafe where I have flexible hours and a few days off a week. So when I’m not working I have quite a bit of free time to be available for dog walking.

I currently don’t own a pet where I am living but my family home had 2 dogs. One collie X and a terrier X. The collie was an old dog which I would give short gentle walks ,depending on how keen she was to walk, but the short walks would mostly result in taking a long time as she was always stopping for a sniff and had problems with her hips but I’d always make sure the walk would always be for her enjoyment. Then the terrier X is only 2 years old so a lot of energy taking him out for an hr each time, varying my walks each time to make it interesting and fun for him.

A typical day
Depending on the needs of the dog I will explore different walks changing the terrain trying to make it interesting for the dog, running and walking. I shall always keep dogs on their leash whilst in my care though.

Pet care experience
I’ve always grown up with all kinds of dogs around me. Looking after my own dogs and also looking after/pet sitting my friends dogs when needed. Growing up I was taught to be kind but anware of their different temperaments and needs. Having a collie X who was calm and gentle and would keep to herself that at times (before she got old) would decide she didn’t want to walk any further to a terrier X that is needy and insecure but lots of energy and neurotic about playing with his ball. I also have my dog walking insurance as well.
