I’ve worked in animal care for over 2 years as an Animal Care & Experience specialist and an Animal Care Technician. On top of that I’ve been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I currently work and I have experience with dogs, cats, and critters. I’m confident with my animal handling, multi-tasking in a timely manner, and familiar working with pet parents. I am also enrolled in an online Vet Technician program which allows me to expand my education while having full flexibility!

Ava is an incredible caregiver. She is patient, detail-oriented and organized. As a foster parent of a disabled dog, I juggle many different needs for my pet. In Ava's previous roles at Arizona Humane Society, she was able to answer my questions quickly and effectively. In all her interactions with my dog, she was beyond sweet and able to manage the dog's behavior well. I can not recommend her enough!
