Ava is wonderful! She’s is spunky & reserved all rolled into one. She watched our cattle dog who is a lot of puppy (high energy & reactive) for a week and didn’t blink after meeting him. She stepped up to the challenge & met every expectation. She was fabulous+ on communication including pictures & videos of our baby blue. We could not rave about her enough! Thank you, Ava! 🩷

Ava was absolutely fantastic. She was so intentional with each of our pets and made sure they were well taken care of while we were gone! She sent lots of updates, photos, and videos which we loved. She made sure our big dog had lots of exercise and play time to help her feel calm in our absence. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!

I work remote, so I will have plenty of time to pay attention to your pet, let them outside in a timely manner, take them on walks, and of course cuddle bug time (:

At my home, I provide a pet-friendly environment with a safe, enclosed space where pets can roam and play. I ensure all pets have access to fresh water, food, and regular bathroom breaks. For cats, I make sure their litter boxes are clean and accessible, while dogs receive regular exercise and attention, including walks or playtime. I also offer special care for pets with medical needs, such as administering medications as required. In a client's home, I follow their routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I make sure to respect the home environment by keeping everything tidy and secure, and I send regular updates and photos to keep owners informed. Whether in my home or theirs, I’m committed to creating a loving, safe, and stress-free experience for the pets I care for.
A typical day
I make sure to provide a variety of fun and enriching activities based on the pet’s personality and preferences. For dogs, I offer interactive games like fetch, tug-of-war, and running in the yard to keep them active and engaged. I also enjoy taking them on walks to explore new areas or visit local parks, giving them both exercise and mental stimulation. If the dog enjoys water activities, I can incorporate playtime near safe bodies of water. For cats, I focus on interactive play with toys like feather wands, laser pointers, and puzzle feeders to encourage their natural hunting instincts. I also offer cozy spaces for them to relax, and some cats enjoy climbing or exploring, so I ensure there's safe space for them to indulge in those behaviors. I make sure to also provide quiet time for cats that prefer a more relaxed environment, offering soft petting sessions and creating a calm atmosphere. I also enjoy providing extra activities for pets with special needs, such as gentle massage for older pets or training games for those that enjoy a mental challenge.
