When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine to ensure they feel relaxed and secure. At my home, I provide a pet-friendly environment with a safe, enclosed space where pets can roam and play. I ensure all pets have access to fresh water, food, and regular bathroom breaks. For cats, I make sure their litter boxes are clean and accessible, while dogs receive regular exercise and attention, including walks or playtime. I also offer special care for pets with medical needs, such as administering medications as required. In a client's home, I follow their routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I make sure to respect the home environment by keeping everything tidy and secure, and I send regular updates and photos to keep owners informed. Whether in my home or theirs, I’m committed to creating a loving, safe, and stress-free experience for the pets I care for.

Ava is wonderful! She’s is spunky & reserved all rolled into one. She watched our cattle dog who is a lot of puppy (high energy & reactive) for a week and didn’t blink after meeting him. Ava was absolutely fantastic. She was so intentional with each of our pets and made sure they were well taken care of while we were gone! She sent lots of updates, photos, and videos which we loved. She made sure our big dog had lots of exercise and play time to help her feel calm in our absence. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!

I work remote, so I will have plenty of time to pay attention to your pet, let them outside in a timely manner, take them on walks, and of course cuddle bug time (:

Additionally, knowing your pet's behavior and temperament helps me understand how they may react to new situations, such as meeting new people or animals. If your pet has any medical conditions, allergies, or requires medication, please provide clear instructions for proper care. It’s also helpful to know if there are any dietary preferences or restrictions. Having emergency contact information, including your pet's veterinarian, is essential in case of unexpected situations. I also like to learn about your pet's social preferences—whether they enjoy being around other pets or people, or if they prefer more solitude. Finally, if your pet needs to travel or is being transported, understanding their comfort level with car rides or new environments ensures they are as relaxed as possible. The more I know about your pet’s needs, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for them.
