UPDATE 3/1/2025: We have relocated to the republic area! :D We are now available for drop ins, walks and pet taxi services. See the end of our photos for pictures of our new space! About the Facility: We have 11 separate outdoor fenced areas varying in sizes from 10x10x6 to 20x20x6, all connected to one big fenced in courtyard to zoomie in with pools in the hot summer and toys all the dogs are welcome to play with and tear up. Inside we boast 6 foot welded wire pens in our living room upstairs, 5 foot welded wire pens in our lower level living area, in the spare bedrooms as well as various sized welded wire and plastic crates - all for guests’ use. The downstairs is all tile and the back door leads to our fenced in back courtyard / deck area with an insulated dog house for the cold day potty breaks as well as a large water trough in the summer and heated water bowls in the winter. We also just added (2024) private hiking trails to the back of our wooded property to be able to enjoy nature without having to encounter other people or dogs (for our more reactive guests) and to burn some extra energy for those dogs that are used to adventuring! Make sure to ask about how to add trail walks to your next booking 😄 About Our Care: All dogs are never left outside unattended, unsupervised or in inclement weather. We do require dogs be contained in one of our crates, pens or spare rooms at night as well as when we are away from the property. Prior to each booking we will ask the appropriate questions and work with pet parents to find the right accommodation for their fur baby. We take great pride in providing love and care for each dog in our care and do our best to accommodate all needs - however, we feel it is necessary that all clients and their fur babies acknowledge that 1.) we are *not* always on property as we both work other PT jobs and 2.) we ALWAYS have at least 15 dogs (larger breeds) on property at all times - these are our personal pets. We also frequently foster multiple dogs at a time. If you or your fur baby are uncomfortable around large breeds we advise you not to book with us. Most of our dogs are dog friendly but we do not allow play dates between our dogs and boarders/ day care pups. My experience : I have worked with countless breeds, sizes and temperaments working as a kennel technician at several facilities with different focuses (ie mass daycare versus reactive dog boarding) as well as having a variety of breeds with different clients ranging from Pugs and Toy Aussies to English Mastiffs and Danes. We spend ample times in the outdoors and my favorite part of every day is the dogs. Over the last 6 years we have been lucky enough to adopt out over 80 dogs to lucky forever homes as well as assist in transports for other rescues and aid in emergency trapping efforts when necessary.
