Pet care fits really naturally into my routine since I genuinely enjoy being around animals. I work part-time at Roots, so I have plenty of time throughout the week for walks, check-ins, playtime, feeding, or overnight care. I’m reliable with routines and happy to work around your pet’s schedule to keep them comfortable and cared for.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and any other care they’re used to. I’m respectful of your home, reliable, and focused on making your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also make sure to keep owners updated with messages and photos so you know your pets are doing well.

It’s important for me to know your pet’s routine, personality, energy level, feeding schedule, medical needs, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and safe. I also like to know if they are comfortable around other dogs, children, or new people, along with any specific training habits or rules you would like me to continue and maintain while caring for them.
A typical day
A typical day includes feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention to keep pets comfortable and happy in their normal routine. I enjoy spending time playing fetch, going on walks, using interactive toys, pettimg, and making sure each pet gets the care and attention they need based on their personality and energy level.

I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience caring for pets of all ages, from young puppies to senior animals. I’ve owned and cared for dogs, bunnies, chickens, and geese, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs. I’ve also worked alongside dog trainers with my own dogs, which has helped me learn more about handling, behaviour, and building trust with animals. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe and comfortable.
