Taking care of pets includes respecting the space they live in, and by extension the space you live in! I know it’s weird to have a stranger in your home when you’re not there, so I’ll only mess with the stuff I have to in order to take good care of your pet, and whatever I don’t need to touch, I won’t. I’m comfortable administering medication to pets that need it, and I absolutely understand the need to accommodate pickiness. I’ll follow any instructions you leave me word-for-word, and make sure your pet gets to be as comfortable and safe as possible until its people get back home!

A typical day
Drop-in care is always a little bit different than longer term care, but it can be just as fun and rewarding! It’s more than just feeding your critter or letting them outside to go potty- it can look like running around in the backyard or playing with toys, or it can be made up of snuggles and quality time! It just depends on the kind of attention your pet is seeking when I’m there.

I’ve grown up around and taken care of pets my whole life, from itty bitty kittens to old dogs, and recently a bunny! I have two cats that are essentially my children, and I know that whenever I’m away from home I worry about them - I always take care of others’ pets the way I want mine to be treated.

Autumn did a wonderful job caring for our pup, Gordy! It was great to receive the photos of their interactions each day, along with the detailed updates about his pees, poops, and other actions.
