I am a software engineer working from home 3 days a week and a homebody on the weekend. I can be ready to receive your pup as early as 8am. My schedule is pretty flexible, just shoot me a message and we’ll figure it out!

My place has a fenced balcony, but I can keep the door to the balcony closed at all times if you prefer. There is a big sofa and an awesome king size bed for my pup and yours. Downstairs is the Lakeshore East Park, where plenty of dogs meet their new best friend. I take pups out for potty breaks in the park every 2-4 hours; if you prefer a different frequency, please let me know! Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs that I need to account for. I prefer smaller breeds, but I can accept medium-sized dogs as well.
A typical day
I will take your dog out for a 30 minute walk in the park with my own miniature pinscher as soon as they are dropped off at my place. After their play time outside, they are free to roam around my apartment; they are free to jump on the sofa or the bed. Food and drinks will be provided as you prescribe. Around noon, we will go for another 15-minute walk together. When we return indoors, we will have a 15-minute play session. Then, as the afternoon hits, I will assess and decide when I should take them out for another walk before you come to pick up your dog. This is a typical schedule, but feel free to message me for any adjustments!

I got my first pup when I was 6, and I have been taking care of dogs ever since! Growing up, my parents and extended family have taken care of the following breeds: German Shepherd, Pekingese, Bichon Frise, Poodle, and Miniature Pinscher. Currently, I have a clingy male neutered, 4-year-old, 7-lb chocolate miniature pinscher.

While visiting Chicago, I needed someone to watch Boba when I couldn’t bring her along. Austin took excellent care of her, walking her and reassuring me every step of the way. I highly recommend booking with Austin. P.S. Austin lives right in front of a large park, so there’s plenty of space for Boba to explore and enjoy the outdoors. .
Loved leaving our baby with Austin.. She kept me updated with pics and little check-ins, which made me feel super calm and comfortable while away. You can tell she genuinely cares. Would definitely be contacting her again in the future!!
