Hello, it’s nice to meet you, I’m Austin! I grew up in South Florida and was raised with animals from a very young age (multiple dogs, cats, and geckos). I’ve always loved animals with a passion and genuinely enjoy being around them. Sadly, I don’t have any animals of my own but that’s why I love this job! It brings me joy watching them play at the park, taking them on walks/hikes & cuddling with the pups. My Aunt Heidi and I have fostered multiple dogs who were severely neglected; and rejuvenated them back to their old happy self. I played baseball my entire life up through college. So if have an energetic and adventurous pup, I’m more than capable of taking them on a long walk.

Austin’s got to be one of the best dog walkers around. He genuinely cares about the pups and can handle any size/age dog with confidence and giant strides or more tender hangs for the the seniors out there. He’s always been super reliable and always shows up to help out even in a crunch when something pops up last minute. 10/10 would recommend for all things dog<3
Austin had been raised with dogs and is very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. He is intuitive and gentle. He is also very athletic and likes a good run! I have an 80lb Pit Bill, a 75lb lab mix and a sweet little old man named Roscoe who is 15lbs and 18 years old. He is great taking all three out together. Heidi H.
Austin grew up with dogs and cats and has been an animal lover his entire life. He has years of experience caring for dogs and currently walks and takes care of my girlfriend’s dog. There is nobody I would trust more with my pet. Simply put, I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Austin grew up with a lot of pets. He loved playing with the dogs, was always the one that volunteered to walk them, play fetch and just run with them. He will care for and treat your dog as you would. He is perfect for this!

Schedule
As cliché as it may sound, animals bring me joy and allow me to stay distracted from other stressors. Anytime I can be around animals, I'll be the first to raise my hand. My weekly routine is very flexible. Please feel free reach out with any questions.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat all animals with love and care as if they were my own. We have a common area outside where dogs can do their business. I ensure they always have water & food (when approved by owner) and any medication they may need. I'm extremely observant to any stressors the animal may be experiencing and act accordingly. I'll follow any instructions you leave me precisely and update you as frequent as you'd like me to.
A typical day
I’m very active so I love to be outdoors. Griffith Park is a go-to of mine being so close. I know many trails there from very easy to tough hikes for dogs that are capable. I also love walking around either the Silver Lake Dog Park or Elysian Park. I love checking out new areas so I'm always open for new recommendations!
