Hi there! I currently have open availability throughout the week, with the exception of a couple of short college classes that last about an hour or two. I’m very flexible and can usually accommodate last-minute bookings or specific time requests, so feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to make it work for you and your pet!

To make sure your pet has the best and safest experience with me, here are a few things I like to know in advance: • Does your pet have any allergies, medical conditions, or require medication? • Are there any behavioral concerns I should be aware of? (e.g., anxiety, reactivity, separation issues) • How does your pet do around other animals and new people? • What is your pet’s typical daily routine? (meals, walks, playtime, bedtime) • Are there any commands or training cues you use regularly? • Does your pet have any favorite toys, treats, or comfort items? • What should I avoid doing or bringing around your pet? • Emergency vet info and your preferred contact method, just in case. Feel free to share as much as possible—I want to make your pet feel safe, happy, and right at home!
A typical day
Every pet is unique, so I always tailor the day to fit their personality and routine. After arriving or welcoming them into my home, we start the day with a gentle check-in—some belly rubs, playtime, or a calm walk depending on their mood. I make sure meals, bathroom breaks, and any medications are given right on schedule. Throughout the day, I keep your pet mentally and physically engaged with their favorite toys, games, or just quality time and cuddles if they’re more laid-back. We take regular walks or enjoy time outside if weather allows, always keeping safety and comfort in mind.

I have had many pets, from childhood dogs and cats to guinea pigs, to rabbits, and more! I believe that pets are crucial family members. I absolutely adore all shapes, sizes and breeds of animals. If you need someone to watch your beloved family members for a while, whether its last minute plans or just needing a break, I’ve got you covered!

I contacted Austin last minute to walk Moose, our Basenji. He responded promptly and was extremely friendly and communicative. He always arrived early, except once due to an unforeseen circumstance. He even accommodated adding some feedings in before walking him to help my husband out after his surgery. He was amazing with Moose & it was obvious Moose loved him. We would certainly use Austin again if we had the need. He was excellent!
Austin was so great to work with. My Maggie is a very strong standard poodle and is very hard for me to walk! My husband was away for business so I found Austin to board Maggie and he took excellent care of her sending me updates and picture to let me know that even though she’s a handful, she was very safe and happy in his competent, loving care.
Austin has such a genuine love for all animals, and it truly shows in how he cares for them. He once took care of my grandma’s dog for a few days, and they had the most amazing bond—it was really special to see. He’s responsible, attentive, and makes every pet feel safe and loved. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a caregiver!
Austin is an amazing young man and an even better dog sitter!! He has exceptional skills to prioritize and the ability to make everyone happy in just about any situation!! I would absolutely leave all of my animals with him for any length if time and know that they will he expertly taken care of!!!
