Our pets needs can vary greatly but I always go over a questionnaire before my visit to ensure I'm properly prepared for each animal under my care.

If your dog is reactive in any way. Leash reactive, dog reactive, fence reactive, etc... If they have had any sign of resource guarding such as food, crates, home, etc... Any other special needs I'd need to know about. Example: dietary needs, medical needs / health issues, etc. I prefer a meet and greet over the phone or in the home before to ensure I'm getting all the information I need.
A typical day
If you have a high energy pup like mine! Toys and stimulation games are my best friend! I love a good game of fetch or tug with a nice decompression walk around the neighborhood after. If its a little too hot outside or your pup prefers the comforts of inside life I always love some quality cuddle time <3 If they are super food motivated and want to learn some new tricks I also love the practice! I always tend to talk to the animals like they are people so if anything they can just hear about my day!

Hi there! Thank you for checking out my profile! I have been professionally working in the animal care industry since 2018. From small family owned businesses to corporate owned facilities. I have worked alongside experienced trainers and with amazing groomers, but most of my career I spent working as a kennel manager at a boarding/daycare/vet facility. I now work more with shelters and rescues in the area. This being said I have worked with MANY different temperaments over the years and pride myself in being well versed in dog body language and behavior. I also am experienced with other species such as birds and reptiles. I'm passionate about animal care and have always worked to grow my skills in this field! Great checkin with pictures!
Austin was such a great sitter. She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable having her watch my pup. She sent tons of pictures while I was away and gave me updates each day on Hazels performance. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.
