I've had a dog as a member of my family as far back as I can remember, from high energy dogs to laid back ones. I went to college for Zoology and then post-graduate college for Zoo and Aquarium studies with a goal of becoming a Zookeeper and animal trainer. While studying to be a zookeeper, I worked at a zoo and at a dog daycare where I interacted with dogs of all breeds during the day and assisted with overnight care of up to 20 dogs at a time. I've cared for dogs, both personal and at the daycare, with medical issues that required the administration of medication (pills, liquid and injections). I have 2 of my own fur babies - Lily, a 17 year old Rat Terrier and Luna, a 5 month old Brittany Spaniel. Both of them are fully vaccinated.

I have a very friendly puppy (5 months as of March 25) that wants to make friends with all other dogs she meets. Currently we go on long hikes and casual walks to keep her active. In the springtime, I will be added a fence to my yard so that we can also spend time playing fetch in the backyard. While I'm at work and she is still too young to be left alone, she stays with my parents and enjoys playing with their two dogs and cat. She loves to play with all toys, so we spend a lot of time doing that in between walks. My elder dog, Lily, spends most of her days taking naps. She does like to walk around the yard with Luna and I. I have a room set up just for her with a gate across the door. Sometimes she prefers her quiet time away from the playfulness of the puppy. She is also nearly blind, so this room offers her a safe place with lots of sleeping options, food and water, and less hazards for her to run into and injure herself on. This room could also be used if you decide to allow your dog to board here and they prefer to sleep on their own or keep to themselves. I also have a medium sized crate (for 20" tall dogs) if they prefer to sleep crated.

Schedule
I work full time currently, so I am looking for some pups to join Luna and I on our evening strolls after 5/5:30pm or our longer walks we take on the weekends around Madison. However, if you would prefer that your dog be walked alone, I will accommodate. I usually arrive home around 5-5:30pm and can take them for a walk after that time during the weekdays. The app would not let me specify, but I am available weekdays from 5/5:30pm until 10pm. I am free all day on Saturday and Sundays.
