Loving dog care in a family setting
I was raised on a farm where we never had less than three dogs. We now have 4 kids (ages 12, 14, 16, and 18) and are looking to love your dog like it was our own. We homeschool and are most often at home and available to play with dog friends all day. We have 6 acres, a large yard, and a wooded walking trail. Our kids are versed in pet care responsibility and love dogs in particular. We use Rover as our travel fund! We are looking forward to finding new places to explore every year. We enjoy camping and the beach and an occasional big cities. We are always looking for travel suggestions! We have lots of space, take frequent walks, and enjoy baking dog biscuits.

10/10 I recommend trusting your pet with Austin and Francis :) I left my VERY affectionate and playful cat Sam for 4 nights with them and their two girls Brie and Lydia & my goodness did Sam have the best time! I know that my boy was so loved and cared for while I was out of town & for a first time drop off like this I think we (Sam and I) did well lol. I received the sweetest updates with pictures while I was gone and that was so appreciated. Francis made pick up and drop off so easy for me too. For as long as I’m in the area, if I ever need a sitter for Sam again, I’m 100% using them again. Thank you!
Our girls were so well taken care of, and it honestly felt like they had their own little vacation while we were on vacation. We really appreciated the care and attention throughout their stay. They came back happy, relaxed, and clearly loved. We would absolutely recommend Francis and her family!
Our 2 German Shepherds stayed with Austin and Francis, and they were very responsive throughout the booking process and during our dogs stay. We got pictures everyday and could tell our dogs were treated like family. Highly recommend and would absolutely bring out dogs back.
Our dog Layla had the best time and was treated like family! She was well taken care of and loved on by the whole family which gave me peace of mind while out of town. I would highly recommend this family to take care of any pet while you are away.
Austin and her family took wonderful care of our dog while we were away on vacation. They have such a great location and are obviously very caring and thoughtful people. Communication was great and our dog was happy and healthy when we picked him up. Can’t wait to use them again next time!

Schedule
We homeschool and are mostly home to care for pets. Occasionally we need to run errands but it is not unusual for your pet to have human company their entire visit.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large piece of land away from the road offering pets space to run and play. We do not have a large fenced yard so it is important for us to know if they can be off leash.
A typical day
We exercise dogs on a wooded trail, in a large yard, and we also have a pond for dogs that like to swim. We love playing fetch for those dogs that are good off leash.
