I’ve had dogs for the past 20 years. With my dogs, Max and Ruby, I’ve taken training extremely seriously and I can certainly say they are my best friends. My wife and I are trusted with the animals of our friends and family, as we are frequently the go-to pet sitters. Our friends and family trust us because they can be rest assured we’ll follow their rules, commands, and routines exactly as they wish. We don’t like it when people don’t follow our rules for Max and Ruby, so we understand the importance of listening to the instructions of a pet owner. Rover is my side hustle. The Army is currently sending me to school at VCU. I love animals and I couldn’t think of any better way to make some extra money. I mean…who wouldn’t want to get paid to play with and care for dogs? I’m currently in school at VCU and my wife works from home. She’ll be around all day to let the dog out and play with them periodically. My military and class schedule allows for me to be home a good bit, and I’ve never missed a day playing with my dogs. My wife can help accommodate by taking out the dogs and playing with them as needed as well. Max and Ruby are super sweet dogs. They get along with every dog they meet. Max is usually pretty indifferent with dogs, but Ruby loves to play with dogs of all sizes. We live in a townhouse/condo. We have large open grass area. We also, have several walking paths for walks. We take our dogs every day to an open empty field nearby to play. There are other dogs in our neighborhood, all of whom are very friendly, but we typically just take our dog to an empty large area to play every day. If your dog enjoys playing, I can guarantee they’ll have a fun time with us. If your dog just likes to relax, that’s fine too and they will fit in just fine! We have some comfy couches!
