Im especially skilled with shy or reserved animals (dogs and cats) and harder to manage or aggressive breed dogs. Austin was incredible!!! To paint a picture, we have two very different types of dogs. One has a tone of energy and can play aggressively and the other is as calm as they come. Austin was able to balance the two with such grace. We were away for two weeks which is the longest we've been away from our two dogs. Austin sent us updates with pictures daily. The cherry on top was when we took our dogs to the park this morning and another dog owner at the park complimented Austins care of the two dogs. While we never want to leave our dogs again, if and when we do, Austin will be the first person we reach out to. Thank you Austin!
Friendly and punctual, two of my favorite qualities in a pet sitter. He watched our dog and cat while my wife and I were away for the weekend and the animals were happy and healthy when we returned. He checked in regularly and made sure that we knew our animals were doing great.
To know my brother Austin is to know animals (and kids) love him and he is amazing with them. My most recent example is from two weeks ago when he came to visit. I adopted my dog during the height of COVID and due to social distancing we had limited interaction with other people and nobody ever came over. My dog became territorial aggressive in our home. I knew the one person that could help me work with him was Austin. I watched as my dog went from aggressive to asking for belly rubs! Seriously! I watched my dog realize that not only was Austin not a threat but is lots of fun. They become the best of friends and it made my heart happy to see them build that relationship. Soon it was all about playing with toys, going on walks and all the pets my dog could want. I understand that this position isn’t about training but I wanted to try and showcase how much love Austin has for every animal I’ve ever seen him around. I would highly recommend Austin to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter and wants to have a kind, responsible, fun and knowledgeable person to care for their fur baby. Wether it’s during work hours or while they're away on vacation not having to worry about their pets as they would be in safe and very capable hands is priceless.
