I have 3 dogs of my own who I frequently take on walks, or to the park. I own several crates and cots for the dogs to settle on. I've worked at dog training facilities in the past, and my wife is a dog trainer, so I am quite familiar with dog body language, and how to properly handle them!

Our experience was unfortunately very stressful. About five hours after we dropped Yeti off, we received a message that he was barking and seemed anxious. We responded, but after that we didn’t receive any further communication. The following morning, Rover contacted us to let us know the sitter could no longer care for Yeti and helped us find a replacement sitter. This meant Yeti had to be transferred to another home during our trip, and we ended up paying more than we had planned. The new sitter told us Yeti settled in well and did not continue barking or have any issues. I understand that not every dog is the right fit for every home, especially if they experience anxiety in a new environment. However, I wish there had been better communication and a greater willingness to work through the situation before ending the stay. That would have made the experience much less stressful while we were away.

Great last minute rover reservation, and over Christmas too! Ollie was well taken care of and did well! Austin and his wife were great and Austin was so responsive!

Austin and his wife were amazing to my pup! We met with them and I instantly felt comfortable with her handling my dog and how overly excited he can get with other dogs. He also had a sick tummy while I was gone and they were fast to offer boiled chicken and rice to him. I will definitely book with them again.

It was obvious that Alayna was loved and well cared for. Alayna showed much affection for them, especially Kyler. It warms my heart knowing she was happy with Austin. I will definitely want to use Austin again when I need boarding for Alayna!
