Information Austie C. would like to know about your pet
Before your dog stays with me, please inform me of any food allergies, skin allergies, seasonal allergies, medications, and their administration schedule. Let me know about specific triggers, food aggression, crating needs during mealtime, sleeping arrangements, behaviors, separation anxiety, and anxiety triggers. It's important that I'm aware if your dog is on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
A typical day
A typical day here is pretty relaxed and centered around the dogs. Mornings start with breakfast around 8:00 AM, followed by potty breaks, some playtime, and a daily walk to get some energy out. During the day, dogs get plenty of attention, time in the yard to run and play, and toys or enrichment to keep them entertained. Dinner is around 6:00 PM, followed by another walk, more yard time, or some easy play depending on the dog’s energy level. Evenings are usually calm and for winding down and getting comfortable. I try to keep each dog on a routine that feels familiar to them and make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home while they’re here.

Care Built Around Your Dog
Pet care experience
The most important thing to me is adapting to your dog’s lifestyle, not making your dog adapt to mine. I pay close attention to body language, personality, and comfort level so I can provide care that fits each dog’s individual needs and routines rather than taking a one size fits all approach. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including working breeds, high energy dogs, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs. I prioritize communication and can provide as many updates and photos as you’d like throughout your dog’s stay.

Reviews

Austie was the best host to our dog Lady! She was extremely communicative, kind, and timely. She gave constant updates and photos to go along with the updates. She was transparent about other dogs staying and was very detailed about their routine! We felt so much peace of mind knowing our hyper-girl was in good hands!

Austie was so flexible with my last minute hiccups and changes! She was kind to Maggie and took great care of her. Highly recommend!

Austin was very accommodating and flexible. She took great care of my little Wednesday.

Austie always communicates with us and sends lots of updates and pictures. It is very clear our dog loves being with her and her pups, we appreciate her so much!
