About this sitter: I love being able to spend time with our furry best friends more than anything. It's the most rewarding thing to give back the unconditional love and companionship that dogs bring into our lives. I currently volunteer for the French Bulldog Rescue Network and assist with fostering, transports, adoptions, and home visits, which allows me to be active in the rescue community. As a recent breast cancer survivor, I've found that keeping myself moving, while at the same time having the constant, comforting love from animals, has helped my recovery immensely! Why I love dog sitting: I understand how hard it is for families to go on vacation and leave their furbabies behind. Having had my best friend, Oreo, for 14 wonderful years I know the deep bond we share with our pups. More recently, I said goodbye to my little fighter, Fenix, after a long battle with cancer. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for every moment we have with our dogs. My goal is to provide your furbaby with as much love, affection, and routine as possible while you are away. Knowing your pup is happy and safe will help you fully enjoy your own vacation while giving your dog a fun, home-away-from-home experience! Meet my pets: Mocha came to us as a former breeding dog that we fostered and soon adopted. She's a 12-year-old love bug with the heart of a puppy, and she is an expert at showing visiting pups the ropes. Our newest addition Reese, is as sweet as the candy he's named after, extremely energetic, and as stubborn as all Frenchies are. He brings so much joy and playfulness into our home.
