Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my grandmother, a dedicated veterinarian, opened her home to cats and dogs in need—whether they required medical care, rehabilitation, or simply a safe place while waiting for a loving family. Under her guidance, I gained hands-on experience caring for animals of all breeds and ages. From feeding and nurturing kittens to training dogs, treating wounds, and providing attentive care for senior pets, I developed the skills and compassion needed to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and well-cared-for. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey was working with Petco to find homes for the cats we raised. From bottle-feeding kittens to preparing them for adoption, we partnered with Petco to match these cats with the perfect families. Seeing them leave for their forever homes was always bittersweet but incredibly fulfilling. Some of my favorite memories include off-road adventures by the river, where the dogs could run, play, and explore. Every trip began with a cheerful, "Alright, load up!"—a phrase that never failed to spark wagging tails and excited barks. With a lifetime of experience and a deep love for animals, I’m committed to giving your furry family members the same level of care and attention I’ve provided to so many others. Whether it’s playtime, training, or special care for senior pets, you can trust me to treat your pet like one of my own.

Auri is reliable, punctual, enthusiastic, and a great communicator. In every “Rover card” she completes at the end of every dog walk, she includes a couple pictures, sometimes a video, notes whether Oyster did his business (and how many times), and notes any additional pertinent details about their walk together. Thank you Auri!

Auri is amazing! We have two cats (one shy and one outgoing) and she did a great job vibing their personalities and making sure they were both comfortable. She was very communicative and sent detailed updates with pictures and videos. She stayed at our house and we came back to everything being totally clean- she even left money for a movie she had rented on Amazon which was totally unnecessary but very considerate. I would highly recommend her.

In My Home: I create a warm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for play, rest, and exploration. Dogs enjoy regular walks, interactive playtime, and cozy rest areas, while cats have access to scratchers, toys, and quiet spots to relax. Meals are prepared according to the pet's specific diet, and any special needs—like medications or routines—are carefully followed. In the Client’s Home: I aim to make pets feel secure and maintain their normal routines. I provide feeding, walking, and playtime based on the owner’s instructions and keep the home clean and tidy during my stay. If overnight care is required, I ensure the pet is never left alone for long periods and receives plenty of attention and affection. For all pets, I focus on their individual needs, from high-energy play for active dogs to gentle care for senior or special-needs animals. I provide regular updates with pictures and messages so owners can rest assured their pet is happy and well-cared-for.
Pets
A typical day
I love to go to the beach, on a hike in San Ysidro, or just a stroll around the neighborhood. In terms of the pets, I usually follow directions of the owners to fit their regular routine.
