With over 10 years of trusted, word-of-mouth pet sitting experience in the Eugene, Oregon community, I’ve had the privilege of caring for cats, dogs, and even the occasional bunny—with love, patience, and attention to every detail. My journey into professional pet care wasn’t built through ads or apps, but through real relationships and happy pets whose humans kept coming back. I recently created a Rover account as I prepare to travel more and connect with a global community of pet lovers. While I enjoy caring for animals of all kinds, I have a special place in my heart for cats—especially those who are shy, sensitive, or slow to trust. Building a bond with them is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Whether your pet is outgoing or introverted, high-energy or mellow, I always approach each visit with calm energy, reliability, and genuine care. Auraleigha was a great sitter for our dog Murphy and took good care of the house. She was a great communicator and let us know when she had a question and sent photo/short video texts with Murphy in them so we knew he was just fine. Would definitely hire her again.
Auraleigha took great care of our home and pets! We came home to a tidy space and the cats looked very happy. She sent us plenty of updates and photos while we were away as well!
Auraleigha was a very thoughtful and caring companion for our doggie while we were gone, as well as an excellent house sitter. She gave us frequent updates and left our house in better condition than when we left! We would use her again in a heartbeat.
Auraleigha is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had on Rover. She was both very respectful of and lighthearted about my cat's particularities and he is a big diva- so, him being good after my absence says a lot about her caretaking abilities. Her communication style was responsive without being overly-detailed. On top of all of that, she took the time to clean up extra for my arrival home. 10/5 stars!

My wife and I are both out of the country for three months out of every year, and sometimes have had to be away from home for additional weeks helping family. We have seven indoor cats that have sometimes complicated social relationship. Before we found Auraleigha, we would return to find chaos among our cats, including bad litterbox behavior indicating that they had been stressed. We've hired Auraleigha to do more than the basic feeding, watering, and scooping because our seven really benefit from having a human just hang out with them. She's been brilliant, and we keep turning to her to give our pets their best shot at dealing with our absences. Auraleigha is a treasure -- and it's a bonus that we get to return to a clean house! We give Aura our enthusiastic recommendation without any reservations.

Schedule
I currently work remotely. With that, pet sitting works seamlessly for me as I am able to be more present than the average sitter. I work at my own pace, so if there is a certain hour of the day that routine takes place, I can easily accommodate.
