Hi! My name is Auguste (pronounced like the month) and I was raised with pets since early childhood:) Took care of our family dog, cat, hamsters as well as fish. Later extended family and friends entrusted me to pet sit for them and I’ve been doing it ever since. I dropped in and pet sat in their homes overnight as well. Played, fed and cleaned their litter. I moved to the UK 8 years ago and not being able to own my own pets at the moment makes me miss their company and caring for them.:( I love animals, have 10+ years of experience with pets (especially cats and smaller dogs) and I am also CPD certified in pet care, dog walking and first-aid!

Auguste was incredible with my 3 year-old Yorkshire terrier, Luna. She has a genuine love for animals that shines through. She followed all of Luna's routines meticulously, from her feeding schedule to her exercise needs, I could tell she gave lots of attention to her. Luna is quite an energetic dog but needs a lot of reassurance and attention so I was initially a bit worried to entrust her to someone for a week, however Auguste was updating me every day with photos and videos and judging from how much Luna loved her, I felt very safe and happy to leave her to Auguste. Will be using her services again, 100% recommend!
Auguste was very professional in coordinating the sitting, was very attentive of my dog's needs, and took great care of him. I am very happy with Auguste, as was my dog, and would 100% recommend and has her again.
I feel very happy to have had Auguste look after my two cats for two weeks. She regularly sent me pictures and detailed descriptions of how my pets were feeling, and she spent a lot of time playing with them. Despite their usual wariness around unfamiliar people, my cats quickly formed a strong bond with Auguste. Thanks to her attentive care, they seemed to forget we were away, staying happy and relaxed throughout the entire period ✨🐈🐈⬛

I am also happy to follow any specific directions and preferences on how you’d like me to approach your pet. I know not all pets are super social and I respect their need for space especially when they don’t know me well. I also understand that some pets have specific needs and I am happy to follow any guidelines you provide. I can walk your dog often and usually take them out at least 2-3 times a day with some playtime of fetch outside:)

I would appreciate any specific instructions about your pet before hand so I am prepared and can care for them well. For example: specific way you’d like me to feed them or informing me on what they are not allowed to do, maybe some behaviours that are unusual but common for your dog, their personality traits, etc. I love cuddly sweet dogs, but happy with dogs that are more independent and have their own thing going as well. I love social dogs that know how to behave in public and are okay with me stopping to grab a cup of coffee or chill with me in parks and at home as well as up for playtime!
A typical day
I love playing fetch or ball in my gated courtyard area, taking doggies around the area to sniff around and take them to a local park for some greenery and some social interaction with other dogs (if it’s safe and desired). I never take them off the leash outside unless in a gated, safe area or advised otherwise. I also play with them with their toys and stimulate their attention with tricks they know and reward them with treats. I also love cuddling with them on my couch with a movie on giving them nice belly rubs and brushing time.:) Love taking a few cute pictures as well if they look up for it haha

I’m in the artistic field and work from home with flexible hours and work calls during evenings so I am pretty much free all day and weekends when I’m not away.
