Experienced Pet Carer and Walker!
I grew up with dogs and cats and I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter for over 2 years full-time. Over the past 3 years I’ve been wfh so have been doing a lot of pet sitting and walks where I can! I am now keen to start dog walking and pet care full time again! I happy to look after cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes! I live in a house with a private, fenced garden and live only a few minutes from St George’s park and a short walk away from Troopers hill!

Augusta was absolutely fantastic with Finn. I’m not away from him very often, and since he spends most of his time with me, I was naturally a little nervous about how he’d settle with someone new. While Finn is a very friendly dog, you never quite know how they’ll react when they’re out of their usual routine. From the moment I picked him up, it was clear he had an amazing time. Augusta struck the perfect balance between adventures and activity, while also making sure he had plenty of structured downtime and relaxation. That’s especially important for Finn, as he can become overstimulated, and it was obvious she really understood and respected his needs. The biggest endorsement came at the end of the stay. When Augusta dropped him off, Finn actually cried when she left, which is about as clear a sign of bonding and trust as I could ask for! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Augusta and would happily leave Finn with her again in the future. Thank you for taking such great care of him.

Schedule
I usually like to take dogs for longer morning/evening walks and a walk in the evening - however happy to fit whatever schedule suits the individual best. I am very attentive and make sure pets water bowls are always clean/full and they have regular access to the garden for pees/poops/sniffs. I like to keep the dog entertained by trying out new tricks or playing brain/scent games.

Whilst I’m caring for dogs I like to give them 100% of my attention. This could mean hanging out in my house, taking them to the park, or letting them have their own time to chill or sleep in a quiet room.
A typical day
I like to keep the dogs engaged by playing games and giving them toys. I like to stimulate their brain by playing hide and seek with toys/treats. Taking dogs on long walks is very important as well as (if they’re social) interacting with other dogs.
