Pets give us light in our lives, they love us unconditionally. Hi, my name is August, and I want to help you care for your four, three, and two legged furry family members! I understand the need to make sure your pets are taken care of while you're away; whether it be for a few hours or a few weeks, it still feels like forever. I am here to make things easier for you and your pet while you spend time away from each other. My experience comes from years of caring for my own dog, cat, and a few exotic pets as well as caring for my clients pets since 2017. During the time I watch your pup or kitty, for however long, I consider them my priority, and will treat them with that same love and care I would with my own family. You can also look forward to quality photo updates of your pet, as I double as a photographer when I can. Many of my clients tell me their dog or cat warms up to me faster than others, that they usually have trouble with people but not with me. No matter the case, when I meet your pet they will sense my energy, nature, and presence, and as a result, your dog or cat will feel very comfortable with me. 🙂 I look forward to taking care of you furbaby!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and this is my main job. I am home most of the day, if not all day, and never gone for more than a few hours.

Safety, trust & environment
When I take care of your furry family members in the comfort of their home, I make sure they feel at ease by taking my time with them, letting them acclimate, and making sure they know they are safe. I tend to try to perform the same routines as my clients to create a sense of familiarity and consistency in the home. When I'm dogsitting in my home, I take a similar approach and make sure to acclimate them slowly and maintain the same routine they would have in their own home! I take one client at a time for this and maintain safety in my home.
A typical day
It'll be non-stop pets, enrichment activities, tug of war, basic training, fetch, and snuggles all day. I usually take pictures of their cute faces to send to their parents and then tell them how good they are!
