I have worked with animals professionally for three years, but I've been a go-to pet sitter for friends & family for many years. I worked for nearly two years at the Oregon Humane Society, where I received formal training under the shelter's veterinary and animal behavior teams, as well as working hands-on with dogs, cats, rabbits, and other pets every day to care for them and match them with forever homes. For the past year I have been pet-sitting and volunteering on family farms while traveling abroad, including several months in New Zealand where I worked as a dog walker and volunteered at a local cat shelter. I'm experienced with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels, and I'm familiar with many common medical conditions and comfortable administering medication if needed.

I am not able to offer services in my home, but I'm able to stay in your home with your pets if you'd like them to have round-the-clock care and attention! For dogs I can take them on as many daily walks as they need, take care of food, and administer any medications; I always try to stick to the dog's usual routine. For cats or small pets, I will also follow your pet's normal schedule for feedings etc. and play/cuddle with them as much as they're comfortable. I enjoy just being around animals, even if we're all doing our own things.

Schedule
I am usually busy between 2:30 and 5pm on weekdays, as well as some Saturdays. This is a somewhat flexible commitment, though, and I'm open to altering this schedule if it conflicts with your pet's needs. Otherwise, my schedule is open! I live locally and can travel anywhere in the Ellensburg/Kittitas area for regular walks, or as far as Thorp for overnight stays.
