What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience and genuine love for animals. I have had horses for 10 years, which has taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and understanding animal behavior. I also worked for a year and a half as a veterinary assistant at a vet’s office while I was in high school. While I am definitely not a professional veterinarian or animal behaviorist, that experience gave me a better understanding of animals and made me more aware of changes in their behavior, health, and overall well-being. I know how important your pets are to you, and I will always treat them with the same care, attention, and patience I would want for my own animals.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow the owner’s instructions and keep their pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I understand that every animal is different, so I take the time to learn their individual needs, personality, feeding schedule, medications if needed, and any specific instructions from their owner. I also make sure they have fresh food and water, attention, playtime, and plenty of care and companionship while their owners are away. I treat each home with the same respect I would want for my own and always make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave. Most importantly, I want both the pet and their owner to feel comfortable and confident that they are in good hands.

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my weekly routine because I am available for bookings on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays, I have classes from 12:45–2:10 PM and 3:00–4:25 PM, so I am available before and after my classes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have classes from 3:00–4:25 PM and 5:30–6:55 PM, which gives me a good window between classes to check on your pet, depending on the distance from campus. I am also able to plan my schedule around your pet’s needs and make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve.
