I've been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was a little kid. I've always loved and been fascinated by animals my entire life, they are more than just our pets. I helped take care of my sister's diabetic dog and gave him his insulin injections many times. I was put in charge of all of his care for multiple weeks at a time while my family was gone. I am still comfortable with giving shots anytime. He was also blind so I have experience working with blind dogs. My family has always had multiple pets in the house my entire life, from cats to dogs to rabbits. One of the rabbits we had was mine, and I was in charge of all of her care 24/7. I helped to care for my senior dog Buddy for years before he passed and am perfectly comfortable around senior dogs and cats, and I have experience with sick animals and dogs with arthritis. I also have experience with seizures and cluster seizures in dogs. I also have a lot of experience with cats as I've had several in my life for years. My cat Bibble recently passed and I was the one who cared for him for the days he was sick. I have experience with sick/dehydrated animals and know what to do in emergency situations. I've bottle fed kittens in the past and am super comfortable around puppies too! I've been doing this job for almost 4 years now and have taken care of many different kinds of dogs and cats, some that needed several medications every day and were disabled. I am happy to provide your babies with whatever dietary needs they may have. Let me know if your furry friend has any special needs! I am happy to help them with all of it! I am gentle with all animals, especially timid ones.

Safety, trust & environment
I am comfortable with giving hand injections as my sister's dog needed his insulin shots twice a day. I am used to providing for dogs and cats needs every day, I have one senior cat and a kitten. I am used to being around senior and sick animals and had a blind dog as well. Oral medications are also something I have become comfortable with during my experience with this job. I have experience with dog seizures as well. For my own safety: Please let me know if other people will be at the house while I am there. If someone is coming over to work on something or if people will be visiting. If I do not know who they are I will assume they are breaking in and call the police. I refuse to go into your house if there is a stranger inside that I didn't know about. I am not comfortable staying in a house with a stranger present, especially overnight.

My dog, Duke, is an anxious boy, but Audra’s calm, patient, and sweet demeanor won him over right away. Seeing how comfortable he was with her gave me complete confidence that he would be well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Audra to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their fur baby. I will definitely be booking with her again in the very near future!

Schedule
I am a recent university graduate and currently have a lot of free time. I will be starting a remote internship in May, which will require me to have access to wifi. For the most part I should be available throughout the week unless family responsibilities require me to stay home. I cannot stay or drop in somewhere that is 30+ minutes away. My availability is subject to change as I continue to look for a full-time job or internship.
