As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home caring for my family and pets. My 3-month-old son and two active cats keep me busy, but they also allow me to maintain a consistent daily routine that works well for pet care. Because I'm home throughout the day, I can provide frequent potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention. Before becoming a full-time mom, I worked as a Correctional Officer for the state prison system, which strengthened my reliability, responsibility, and ability to remain calm under pressure. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a family member, and I strive to provide every pet with a safe, loving, and stress-free experience.

A typical day
I like to follow each pet's individual personality and energy level. Some pets love active play, walks, and lots of interaction, while others prefer quiet companionship, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby. I pay attention to their comfort level and cues so they can enjoy their time in a way that feels natural and stress-free. Whether that means tossing toys for an energetic cat, going for a walk with an excited dog, providing enrichment activities, or relaxing with a senior pet who just wants company, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while you're away.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have two playful cats of my own, but I've also spent years caring for stray, feral, senior, and rescue animals. I've rescued numerous cats and dogs over the years and have experience earning the trust of shy or nervous pets. One of my most meaningful experiences was adopting Birdie, a senior cat who was 11 years old when I brought her home from the shelter. She spent four happy years with me, surrounded by love and enrichment. I care deeply about animal welfare, support spay and neuter efforts, and believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and respect. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. 🐾

Aubrie, my daughter, has always had a deep connection and love for all animals. She has always been extremely caring and compassionate for not only our animals in our household growing up but for others. Aubrie believes that all animals have souls and I couldn't agree more. She has a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals and their behaviors which has enabled her to be an even better care taker. Her experience in pet care is from having her own pets and caring for her friends' fur babies and dogs she has walked and cared for in our neighborhood. Aubrie pays attention to safety issues and has never let any of the dogs in her care off leash even if a friend or neighbor tells her that it's fine. She treats every dog like her own and is adamant about their security and safety at all times. There have been times when she's yelled at me for not wrapping the leash around my wrist and tells me no cell phone distractions while walking my dogs and I have to admit, this makes me a proud father to see my daughter be so caring, compassionate and responsible for the care of all dogs and cats.
