Pet care experience
Dog Trainer w/ Fenced Yard
I have always loved animals and have shared my life with pretty much every kind of animal imaginable - from common house pets to exotic animals and even livestock. I have always strived to be the best animal guardian and caregiver I can be. I currently offer dog training services through Rover and from ‘20-‘22 I ran a private dog training business. I have certifications in animal CPR, dog health and nutrition, dog behavior, and positive reinforcement training. During my childhood and teenage years I was an AKC Junior Handler and 4-H dog showmanship and obedience handler at the master level. I have a lifetime of experience handling even the most unique or challenging situations as well as the knowledge and resources to provide the best care I can for your pet. I share my life with my spouse, two young children, our Border Collie, and our two cats. While your pet is staying with us they are part of our family. ❤️

Aubrey was a life saver! I had a last min work trip pop up and she was available to board my dog. Furthermore my flight home got pushed back and she was able to keep my dog one more night for me. Definitely recommend and will be using her for future boarding.

Thanks for taking great care of Rudy❤️🐾

Audrey watched our 6-month-old Goldendoodle, Hooper, who has an unbelievable amount of puppy energy! After our meet-and-greet, we felt completely comfortable leaving him with her for an overnight, two-day stay. He was clearly very well cared for—and, amazingly, completely exhausted from all the playing! We honestly didn’t think anyone could wear him out. We had such a positive experience that I plan to schedule Hooper with Audrey again for our two-week vacation. I know he’ll have a wonderful time and, most importantly, be in caring hands.

Aubrey is very knowledgeable and has lots of impressive experience with all kinds of dogs. She took time to meet my dog and I before taking care of him in daycare and introducing him to her “pack”. I felt very confident knowing he was in good hands 🐾

Aubrey was fantastic. Our Piper had so much fun. Aubrey was great about communicating and keeping me updated. Will definitely book again.

Aubrey is always great and very caring. Our pup is so happy to be there

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
All first-time guests start with meet and greet prior to booking. This 15-20 minute first introduction gives us all a chance to meet, discuss everything your dog (and you) will need during their stay, and make sure your dog is comfortable and a good fit for Daycare or Boarding at my home. - All guests must be friendly with other animals and young children with no history of reactive behavior. - Senior dogs and dogs with additional medical needs can almost always be accommodated and are welcome. This includes dogs who need around the clock care, oral/topical/injection medication, and assistive equipment. - Puppies under 6 months old and dogs under 1 year who are not reliably potty trained are welcome at my standard puppy rate.

A typical day
I only host a maximum of 3 guests at a time so I can truly get to know your dog and make my home their home-away-from-home. I try to make everyday filled with a balance of engaging games, walks in the neighborhood or to the local lake, having fun in the yard, and hanging out/napping. During their stay your dog becomes part of the family and their joy and comfort are my priority.
