Verfügbarkeit
My schedule is currently flexible, and I’m available for both drop/in visits and overnight stays! I do my best to match your cat’s usual routine, whether that means early mornings, late-night zoomies, or just chill companionship during the day. I’m a college student who travels between states, so my availability is seasonal, but I always keep my calendar up to date. If you’re not sure about dates, feel free to reach out! I’ll always be honest about my schedule and if I can make it work. I typically stay within a 20-25 minute drive of my home base, but if you’re a little further out, feel free to reach out. I’m always open to trying to work something out if it’s a good fit!

Sicherheit, Vertrauen & Umgebung
I know how much trust it takes to leave your cat (and your home) in someone else’s hands. I take that seriously. I’m quiet, respectful, and always follow instructions. I’m especially observant of cat behavior and home routines. Whether I’m stopping by for a drop-in or staying overnight, I’ll stick to your schedules as requested. I’ll also make sure doors stay shut, lights are left as they were, and that your cat’s environment stays familiar and calm. For shy or sensitive cats, I let them come to me on their own terms. There is no forced affection here. I’ll check in with updates and photos so you know your cat is doing well, even if they’re the kind who hides under the bed at first. I’ve worked with cats who are disabled, feral, anxious, or just plain picky (one of mine only eats one exact brand & can of food..!), and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one tick. My goal is to make your time away stress-free for both you and your cat.
Informationen, die Aubrey J. gerne über dein Haustier wissen möchte
Before I visit, I’d love to know anything that helps me care for your cat just like you would, including their routine, personality, any health issues, and what makes them feel safe. Let me know if they’re shy, if they have favorite hiding spots, or if they need meds or extra help. The more I know, the better I can keep them comfy and happy while you’re away!
Ein typischer Tag
A typical day with your cat depends entirely on them. I always adapt to their personality and needs. Some cats want playtime, some want cuddles, and some just want someone quiet to sit nearby. I’ll follow your care routine exactly, including feedings, medications, and litter box scooping, and I’ll spend quality time doing whatever makes your cat feel safest and happiest. Whether that means chasing toys, brushing, lap time, or giving them space, I try to adhere to what the cat needs.

Cat-Only Sitter • Former Foster Mom
Erfahrung in der Katzenbetreuung
Hi! I’m Aubrey, a lifelong cat person and former foster with 40+ cats fostered over the years, from tiny kittens with blue eyes to grumpy seniors. I’ve worked with every kind of personality: shy, spicy, energetic, scared, special needs, and even semi-feral cats. As a foster parent, I’ve done the gritty stuff: socializing ferals up to 8 months old, giving eyedrops and medications, and pilling cats (quite the interesting process!). I’ve cared for special needs cats too, including my own cat who has cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome). I currently have three cats of my own, and at one point had 10 cats in my home (fosters + mine), so no number of cats will ever intimidate me. I adopted my first cat, Molly, when I was in grade school from the same shelter I ended up fostering for. My second, Mr. Midnight, was one of several stray kittens I rescued from my yard. That rescue is actually what started my fostering journey! My third also showed up in my yard, wobbly but determined to survive. I’ve met cats from all walks of life. I’m calm, clean, and super respectful of your home & property. More importantly, I can read cat body language and become their friend, whether it takes 2 minutes or 2 days. These days I don’t foster (foster-friendly renting is a nightmare) but I love being able to offer drop-in or overnight care that keeps cats happy and secure in their own environment.

the best cat-sitter! very nice and took all the instructions into account. my cat loved her! would definitely recommend.

Aubrey was a wonderful sitter to Pam! It was our first time having someone we just met take care of Pam and we are so glad we chose Aubrey who was kind enough to do a meet and greet in advance. I’m possibly too much of a crazy cat mom and had lots of detailed instructions but Aubrey kindly responded to them and updated us regularly on how Pam was doing. She stayed with Pam for 4 days, fed and played with her and kept her company. It’s clear that Aubrey has a great love of cats and respect of their space - within 3 days Pam sat on her and gave her biscuits which knowing Pam, is a great sign 🤗 we would love to have Aubrey take care of Pam again in future and would recommend her highly!

Aubrey took great care of our boys and our apartment! We would definitely rebook with her. :)
aubrey was so sweet and accommodating for a last minute booking!! did an amazing job caring for my shy kitty and sent the sweetest pictures. my house was exactly as i left it after her drop-ins and she was super careful to return my keys and card in good condition :) couldn’t recommend enough
