I am a teacher, so I’m gone for 8 hours a day, but I do have a dog door with access to the fenced in back yard. When I get home from work, we load up into the car and head to San Luis Park, and spend about 30 minutes walking the trails or playing in the dog park. I have security cameras inside and outside the home too, so I am constantly kept up to date on how the dogs are doing.

If you absolutely think your dog can’t wait for 8 hours to go to the bathroom, or they’re unable to use the doggy door, one of my neighbors is a college student who I’ve known since she was 8. She’s very happy to come by during her lunch break to let the dogs out and make sure the water bowl is full and everyone is alright.

Information Aubrey I. would like to know about your pet
-are they up to date on vaccinations? -is the dog aggressive in the slightest towards other dogs? (In case I decide to take the dogs to the dog park.) -is your dog house trained? -allergies of any kind? -does your dog have any anxiety I should be aware of? (I.e. Thunder, separation anxiety, etc.) -is your dog on flea/tick medication? (my yard is debugged monthly, but just in case, I'd rather not have fleas in my house). **But most of all, just communicate anything you think I should know—I would much rather know in advance so I can prepare, rather than have to find things out the hard way.**
A typical day
My style in dog sitting is definitely quality time. I'm a total homebody, and spending time with my dog is important to me, so you can expect that when you leave your pup with me as well. We walk the trails at the park, or just around the neighborhood, sit in the front lawn and watch the world go by, and if I think it’s a good fit, I even take my rover dogs with me to my small group at church. I've also been known to dress up dogs with big bows and funny costumes. :)

Pet care experience
My name is Aubrey, and I absolutely love dogs. I'm an elementary school teacher and I have the best pup in the world. Your dog(s) would be welcome guests in my house, where they'll get plenty of love and exercise. If your dog is high energy--no problem! I tend to take my dog to Mission San Luis daily, where we walk the trails and play in the dog park. **I do not own cats, nor do I have small children, if those are issues.**
Reviews

Aubrey was so wonderful with our Maggie girl!

Aubrey kept our dogs active and engaged for a week while we were traveling. She really cares about their wellbeing and knows how to handle difficult situations when they arise. We appreciate the attention and loving care for our dogs!

Aubrey is always great! She takes lots of pictures and keeps you updated. She also has a lot of dog knowledge and is great for tips on improving any issues. Highly recommended!

Aubrey was super accommodating and did great with Gracie. She braved the cold to take her on walks and to the park. Gracie had a fun time and we could enjoy our time and not worry about her. She was in good hands.
