I grew up with a giant gray labradoodle named Buddy who taught me to love and deeply respect all animals. From him I learned how to care for pets in all life stages, and he carved a special place in my heart for senior dogs. I feel grateful that I’ve been trusted with many other pets - I live with my partner Pranav who adores animals and together we’ve cared for dogs with medication needs, puppies who need training reinforcement, and were the caretakers for my neighbor’s dog in NYC for 4 years, who would stay with us for a few days a week.

Atmaja did an incredible job of taking care of Rocco while we were away. She kept us updated throughout the weekend with plenty of photos! I’m typically a little nervous leaving Rocco with sitters but Atmaja did an amazing job of checking in around his schedule and care needs well before the trip and treated him like her own! Rocco can take time to settle in with new sitters, and we’ve never seen him this comfortable this fast. Atmaja is caring, calm, and loving. We absolutely recommend her for your pup!

Schedule
You can expect your dog to have a lot of attention in my home. I’m back in grad school and home most days, and my partner Pranav works from home 5 days a week. We coordinate care together so someone is always home!

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a spacious 1 bedroom in the East Village. We both work from the living room and will love on your pup as much as they need throughout the day! I consider myself to be a clean and tidy person, and live near Tompkins Square Park and love taking dogs there to enjoy the greenery.
A typical day
Well take plenty of strolls together to Tompkin’s Square Park. If you’d like me to, I can take them to the dog run there as well, or keep them on the leash and the sidewalk if they don’t get along with other dogs. There is also a more quiet walk around the back of my block I like to do with dogs that get overstimulated. I’ll chat with your dog throughout the day and give them plenty of cuddles and play depending on what they like.
